Thought Of The Day :

November 10, 2005

God Said No

I asked God to take away my habit.

God said, "No, it is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up."

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.

God said, "No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary."

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, "No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned."

I asked God to give me happiness.

God said, "No. I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.

God said, "No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me."

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.

God said, "No. I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things."

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.

God said..."Ahhhhh, finally you have the idea."

If you love God, send this url to ten people and back to the person that sent it.

THIS DAY IS YOURS. DON'T THROW IT AWAY.

We grow up believing that the people in charge know what they are doing, but, that is not true.

God is not a cosmic parent in the sky! God is the energy of the universe! The unlimited universe is our unlimited mind! We all are mental phenomena! Millions of different species of mankind live all over the unlimited universe. Many species species in the universe are older and wiser than mankind on earth.

We are but beginners in the cosmic school of learning. All of us are in the process of learning how to become a more mature creator. Remember all experience is neutral. It is your reaction that labels the experience good or bad.

When you are willing to face your fears they disappear. You no longer have a need for a physical experience to bring you knowledge and growth.

WAKEY, WAKEY

"Sit down before fact like a little child. And be prepared to give up every preconceived notion. Follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads or you shall learn nothing." T.H. Huxley

One of the most important ways of learning anything today in our society is through symbols and emblems. Emblems are like words. If you can't read the emblems or symbols you don't know what the story is revealing.

When you have a problem, if people think you've quit, they think you're satisfied. But, if you haven't quit, they know the problem still exists.

Life is not without peril. We all face hardship and challenges, but adversity introduces people to themselves.

It is not what you are capable of handling that matters. It is how much you want it that counts. For there is no great reward without great sacrifice.

HELL: Religion has taught us that Hell is a place of eternal punishment. Once in Hell there is no escape. Of course, this superstition was invented by religion for one purpose and one purpose only: to subject its followers to fear and create a dependency that will insure its continued existence.

Within t he very Bible--that religion claims is without error--it is very clear that Hell is a state of consciousness and it is possible to leave Hell via meditation. In other words, the Bible itself indicts religion as a lie.

Sometimes you have to make a dream come true or push for a dream to come true. A dream is only a dream until you take a stand.

Every society needs educated people, but the primary responsiblity of educated people is to bring wisdom back into the community and make it available to others so that the lives they are leading make sense.
